Customer Account Representative III

Responsibilities:  Under general supervision, this position is responsible for all aspects of utility billing for GHBLP and serves as primary contact for all utility billing issues. Understands billing, meter reading, mail delivery and bank draft programs and communicates with respective providers to trouble shoot programs as needed. Cross-trained in the area of customer service, including setting up accounts, processing and posting payments and problem solving. Assists customers, vendors, and department employees, answering inquiries and resolving questions pertaining to payments or billings, while maintaining positive customer relations.

Qualifications:  Associates in Accounting desired; or a combination of relevant training, experience and a High School diploma or equivalent. Prior Utility Billing experience desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel and Word; excellent computer literacy; cause/effect analysis and interpretation skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and positively with customers and coworkers. Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Engineering Technician

Responsibilities:  Assists engineering and distribution departments with GIS System Mapping, AutoCAD drawings, staking and design work, material ordering and engineering databases.

Qualifications: Associates degree in engineering technology, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Proficient in AutoCAD, ESRI/Futura GIS, surveying, and Microsoft Office.
