Director of Production
The Grand Haven Board of Light & Power, a West Michigan municipal electric utility serving approximately 13,700 customers is seeking qualified applicants for its Director of Production position.
Reporting to the General Manager, this position supervises and directs a staff of 37 employees and is responsible for the administration, technical supervision, operations, maintenance, safety, and environmental compliance of a 70 MW coal-fired generating station and 6.5 MW diesel peaking plant.
Qualifications include a Baccalaureate level major in electrical or mechanical engineering and eight (8) years of professional experience in electrical power plant production including five (5) years in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
