ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS – GRAND HAVEN BOARD OF LIGHT & POWER OFFICE RENOVATIONS
The Grand Haven Board of Light & Power, through Progressive Companies, the Architect, is soliciting bids for a general contractor to be responsible for all trades and coordination for all required work between trades as indicated in Grand Haven Board of Light & Power Office Renovation Contract Documents. Work includes: Renovations to an existing conference room; converting existing office space into new office and copy space; new locker room, bathroom, and lounge; new pre-engineered metal garage; updated warehouse lighting; and site improvements including grading, new paving, concrete work, and fencing.
Contractor bids will be received for work as delineated in the project manual and drawings issued for Grand Haven Board of Light & Power Office Renovation. Electronic bid documents can be obtained from the Architect at 1811 4 Mile Road NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525, Sally Garvin, sgarvin@weareprogressive.com, on or after April 14, 2025.
Non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held Monday, April 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the project site, located at 1700 Eaton Drive, Grand Haven, MI 49417.
Signed and sealed bids are due before 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025, at the Grand Haven Board of Light & Power, 1700 Eaton Drive, Grand Haven, MI 49417. Late bids will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened at Grand Haven Board of Light & Power conference room immediately following.
Bids must contain signed Iran Economic Sanctions Act Certification and a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationships between the Bidder and the Grand Haven Board of Light & Power or any of their employees. Successful bidders are required to furnish 100% labor and material bond and 100% performance bond. The Grand Haven Board of Light & Power reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract in their best interest and may select a bidder other than the lowest bidder in accordance with the terms stated in the notice.
