On April 30, 2018, one hundred eighteen Public Power utilities earned the Reliable Public Power Provider designation for providing reliable and safe electric service. Grand Haven Board of Light & Power received the Platinum Level Award, which certifies that the Board of Light & Power has demonstrated leading practices in reliability, safety, workforce development, and system improvement.
